The role of Pavements Manager provides strategic direction to the Pavements technical capability, collaborating with sector leaders and driving business growth through operational excellence and delivery performance.

This national position can be based out of various offices across Australia. The successful candidate will drive the operations and technical development of the Pavements capability, aligning with SMEC's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction for the Pavements capability to support business growth and improve service quality.
  • Evaluate and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Pavements team.
  • Develop and implement plans to drive business expansion and improve client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 20+ years' industry experience, recognised as an authority in transport infrastructure design. They will have managed multi-disciplinary projects successfully, built trusting client relationships, and demonstrated leadership skills in engineering consulting organisations.
