Pavement Management Leadership Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires operational, technical and business development direction for the Pavements capability.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance to support SMEC's vision and values. They will also be responsible for ensuring capability development and mobilization nationally, as well as managing national client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and innovation in the Pavements capability.
  • Mobilize and develop the Pavements capability nationally, ensuring alignment with SMEC's vision and values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national clients, identifying opportunities for growth and delivering high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • 20+ years' industry experience, recognized as an authority in the transport infrastructure design market.
  • Experience in Manager / Lead roles in similar engineering consulting organizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
