Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Services Manager to oversee the Government work order management process at our facility in Alice Springs, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to make decisions under pressure. They will manage a team of specialists, focusing on managing dining services, custodial services, transportation, and hospitality functions.

This is a 24x7 operation that requires provision of on-call support. The successful candidate must be able to maintain solid availability of essential systems and ensure they remain operational without interruption.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain a dining facility in accordance with Host Nation health and sanitation standards for food preparation and handing.
  • Conduct all cleaning of food preparation and food service areas in accordance with Host Nation Health Code regulations.
  • Provide catering service for official and VIP events.
  • Maintain, stock, and manage site vending machines in accordance with the appropriate Host Nation health and sanitation standards for food preparation and handing.
  • Collect, stage, pick-up, and conduct off-site disposal of all trash (Classified & Unclassified), construction material, and recycling.
  • Manage custodial cleaning services.
  • Manage and maintain on-site ATMs in coordination with the local banking institute.
  • May provide work direction.
  • Communicating effectively with diverse teams, responding to questions, and solving a range of operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Possess an active Secret Security Clearance, or Host Nation NV-1 Clearance.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting projects of similar scope, size, and complexity.
  • A minimum of two (2) consecutive years of supervisory experience in Food Services or Hospitality service.
  • Knowledge of process improvement models.
  • Experience providing high-quality customer service.
  • Experience managing help desk services and work order management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing dining services, custodial services, and hospitality functions.
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating applicable environmental health and safety practices across responsible work areas.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to, project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics.

Benefits:

KBR offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per annum, plus additional benefits, including a 401k plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
