Maternity and Newborn Improvement Manager

The Department of Health is seeking a skilled Strategic Healthcare Leader to lead the Maternity and Newborn Improvement team in developing and implementing large-scale health improvement initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve healthcare outcomes for mothers and newborns.
    • Lead a team of improvement specialists to design and deliver evidence-based solutions.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinicians, policymakers, and community members, to achieve system-level outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in a field related to health administration, medicine, nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, or pharmacy.
  • Proven experience in leading healthcare improvement initiatives, with a strong track record of results-oriented outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and make informed decisions.
