Job Summary

The Payroll Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and detailed reporting.

  • Manage payroll and time management systems to ensure adherence to legislation and company policies.
  • Process end-to-end payroll, including all relevant payments and statutory obligations.
  • Maintain employee records such as new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, and leave.
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and financial summaries to support management and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll and finance projects and suggest improvements to processes.
  • Respond to payroll enquiries and produce reports as needed.
About You
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll for at least 350 employees is required.
  • Experience in using KeyPay payroll software is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of processing multi-state payroll and understanding of relevant legislation, awards, and taxation is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality are expected.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines are necessary.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with HR, Finance, and other internal teams are required.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to support improvements in payroll processes is desirable.
