Job Summary:
Payroll Operations SpecialistThis role involves providing day-to-day payroll operational support to ensure timely and accurate administration of company payrolls.
About This Opportunity:The Payroll Operations Specialist will report directly to the Payroll Manager and be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Day-to-Day Support: Provide payroll operational support as directed by the Payroll Supervisor.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of app payroll-related processes, procedures, checklists, calendars and ensure they are updated periodically.
- Statutory Remittances: Ensure all statutory and non-statutory remittances/payments are made accurately and on time, in accordance with the Payroll Calendars for All AU Payrolls.
- Date Integrity: Ensure date integrity is maintained in the Payroll Systems. Payroll transactions are processed efficiently with minimal error and in compliance with appropriate country requirements.
- Payroll Administration: Administer Payroll processes in collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update Payroll information and postings in line with country requirements.
- Discrepancies and Reconciliations: Resolve payroll discrepancies and reconciliations.
- Maintaining Operations: Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
- Financial and Operational Reporting: Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
- End-of-Month and Year-End Processes: Responsible in completing and involvement with all month end and year end processes / tasks.
- STP and Pay Day Filing: Responsible for accurate and timely submission of Single Touch Payroll / Pay Day Filing.
- Filing of Payroll Records: Responsible for timely and accurate filing of all Payroll and Employee Masterfile records.
- Liaising with Third Party Vendors: Liaise directly with third party vendor/s in managing of business relationship role that ensures smooth & timely delivery of all operating payroll's.
- Responding to Employee Queries: Respond in a timely and professional manner on all employee queries regarding all facets of payroll, accounting and business reporting, problem solving.
- Time Management: Demonstrate strong time management and ability to meet deadlines;
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate high level attention to detail and accuracy, solid grasp of mathematics, excellent organisational and communication skills
- Professionalism: High degree of professionalism and discretion given the confidential nature of the role
