Job Description

This Part-Time Payroll Role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator to join our Financial Services team. As a Salary Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining efficient payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for a diverse workforce.
  • Process new starters and terminations efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle various payroll-related transactions, including incentive payments and adjustments.
  • Liaise closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve payroll queries promptly.
  • Prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions according to statutory requirements.
  • Generate comprehensive month-end reports and process journals for payroll-related accounts.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar payroll administration position within medium or large organisations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex payroll calculations and ensure accuracy under pressure.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Familiarity with major payroll systems such as ADP or Workday is beneficial.
  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting or Payroll courses demonstrates technical foundation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues.
  • High levels of accuracy combined with strong analytical abilities.
