Housekeeping Manager Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will lead a team of housekeepers to deliver exceptional cleaning services across the property.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained throughout the property, including rooms and public areas.
  • Foster a productive working relationship with housekeeping staff members, clients, and contractors.
  • Direct the housekeeping team to provide an outstanding cleaning service, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Provide on-the-job training for all cleaning staff, promoting their growth and development within the role.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing a housekeeping team, demonstrating leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Effective budget management skills, including procurement and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with staff, clients, and contractors.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, ensuring efficient task completion and meeting deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work across a 7-day roster, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
