Senior Cloud Migration Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Migration Expert to lead the end-to-end migration of our existing Data Warehouse to a modern cloud-based environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive migration plan, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful data migration, transformation, and testing.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to the migration, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with business users to define requirements and ensure the new data platform meets their needs.
- Proven experience in cloud data platforms, particularly Databricks.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data migration processes, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience in managing decommissioning projects and large-scale data migrations.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure or AWS.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Full-time, 6-month daily rate contract.
- Competitive daily rate based on experience.
- Possibility of extension based on project progress and needs.
