Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Strategy Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing informed financial insight and analysis to key decision-makers, influencing business plans and future direction.

This role will support the Senior Vice President of Finance in providing commercial financial support to the Executive Vice President and General Manager, Global Media & Streaming, and the wider Australian Management Team. The Financial Strategy Partner will lead local requirements relating to forecast and budget cycles for ANZ, and be the primary contact for all ANZ CP&A activities.

The successful candidate will have experience in financial accounting systems and be able to understand, interpret and communicate complex financial data to a range of audiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Deliver effective financial management and advisory support for the ANZ GM&S business.
  • Support the SVP Finance, ANZ on working with the AMT, Group Strategy and other central teams on the mid/long range planning process.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts at each cycle.
  • Manage the preparation of month end reports for monthly consolidation reporting.
  • Manage the monthly rolling forecast model.
  • Support the preparation of all monthly reporting for the GM&S business.
  • Manage local analytics for AUS subscriber reporting.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Provide commercial finance support as required.
  • Collaborate with members of the wider finance community.

The Financial Strategy Partner will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with all relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of working with financial accounting systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage staff.
