Financial Planning Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to provide financial planning and analysis support to the senior leadership team, ensuring informed decision-making and strategic growth.

  • This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand key performance drivers and deliver timely financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Finance in managing ARN's financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive growth & profitability.
  • Proactively partner with key business leaders to ensure timely delivery of financial objectives and enable smart strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and gather commentary to reflect accurate financial results to Executive Management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning.
  • Analyse performance across ARN's planning & forecasting cycles, lead KPI analysis, and provide actual results insights and implications for long-term financial outlook.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business are essential, with CA/CPA qualifications highly regarded.
  • Strong technical financial modelling & forecasting expertise, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of BI tools (Power BI) are required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration across cross-functional teams and engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High accountability, meeting deadlines, and solving complex strategic business problems while being commercially minded and adaptable are expected.
