About the Role

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality security services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform IT and cyber security risk assessments, technical security reviews, and evaluate the effectiveness of processes and controls.
  • Conduct IT and cyber security audits, special project reviews, and risk-based assessments to ensure the reliability and integrity of our clients' business and IT systems.
  • Develop and implement effective security solutions, including system software reviews, new system development technical evaluations, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and provide technical guidance and support to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our clients receive the highest level of security services.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in cyber security, IT audit, internal controls, or risk management.
  • Proven experience in performing security risk assessments, testing, or auditing of cybersecurity or information security standards or governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
