Air Operations Manager

Queensland Government Air forms part of the QPS, Aviation Capability Group (ACG) and provides government aviation services specialising in both rotary and fixed wing operations in support of the QPS and our partner agencies in regular and emergency response operations across Queensland.

We are seeking skilled pilots to operate our modern fleet of brand-new Beechcraft King Air B360 turboprops and caravan aircraft.

As a member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet by providing essential, lifesaving and emergency aviation support to our partner agencies.

You will also have the opportunity to fly the latest King Air B360 aircraft and work in a supportive and collaborative environment with a focus on work/life balance.

Key Requirements
  • Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL) Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating.
  • Minimum 3000 hours total time.
  • Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • Minimum 300 hours Night PIC.
  • Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC.
  • Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • Current Class 1 Aviation Medical.
  • Hold a current Passport.
