Chief Engineer of Fixed Wing Operations

Toll Aviation is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Leader to lead our fixed wing engineering operations across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic oversight and operational delivery of all engineering, maintenance, and compliance activities related to our fixed wing fleet.
- Ensure adequate resourcing—personnel, finances, facilities, tooling, materials, and equipment—to meet maintenance authorisations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead compliance with CASA regulations and maintain the highest standards of airworthiness and maintenance quality.
- Champion continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, and performance.
- Establish effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Advanced Diploma in Aviation Maintenance Management (Mechanical or Avionics), or relevant equivalent.
- Proven senior leadership experience in aviation engineering or maintenance.
- Extensive experience within EMS (Emergency Medical Services) fixed wing operations.
- Deep understanding of CASA Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR, CASR, and associated guidance material).
- Ability to hold a Secret clearance and an ASIC required.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentoring and team development.
