Aircraft Avionics Engineer Role Overview

Join a leading helicopter company that supports mission critical services around the world.

We operate in dynamic environments, covering all facets of Aerial Fire Fighting, Charter, Emergency Assistance and Helicopter lifting services throughout Australia and beyond.

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our fleet, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Ensure maintenance of aircraft adheres to aviation Quality Assurance procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Communicate with the Director of Maintenance of any deficiencies noted in the maintenance procedures manual with suggestions for remedial action.
  • Adhere to all aviation rules and regulations, maintaining the highest level of quality and safe work practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • CASA B2 Licence preferred.
  • Aviation Industry Experience – Rotary or Fixed Wing, Avionics.
  • Understanding of Civil Aviation and Federal Aviation law regulations.
  • Eligibility to hold an ASIC.
