Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to head our fixed wing engineering operations across Australia. As the Head of Fixed Wing Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance in our aviation maintenance management.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. You will lead our engineering operations, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure we meet maintenance authorisations and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all fixed wing engineering and fleet management activities
  • Ensure adequate resourcing—personnel, finances, facilities, tooling, materials, and equipment—to support our maintenance operations
  • Maintain the highest standards of airworthiness and maintenance quality while complying with CASA regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, and performance
Qualifications & Experience
  • You must have an Advanced Diploma in Aviation Maintenance Management (Mechanical or Avionics), or relevant equivalent
  • Proven senior leadership experience in aviation engineering or maintenance, preferably in EMS (Emergency Medical Services) fixed wing operations
  • Extensive experience working within the aviation industry, with a deep understanding of CASA Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR, CASR, and associated guidance material)
  • Able to hold a Secret clearance and an ASIC required
