Job Description
As Financial Controller, you will partner with the Directors and General Manager to provide financial visibility and clarity. Managing a small team, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and become the CFO while developing the finance function.
You should possess the confidence to take initiative, contribute valuable insights, and handle routine finance tasks with ease. A growth mindset is essential to enhance and support commercial decision-making within the organisation.
The Challenge
- Manage daily finance operations, including financial planning – forecasting, analysis, and providing actionable insights.
- Complete month-end, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting through to Directors and the General Manager.
- Develop annual budgets.
- Analyse financial data and collaborate with wider business divisions.
- Prepare payroll, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Identify and improve systems and processes.
The Expertise
- A qualified CA or CPA with 6-9 years of professional working experience.
- Excitement about fast-growing and progressive environments.
- Hands-on approach, highly driven, and outcomes-oriented, with adaptability in fast-paced, lean environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modelling.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, with a focus on developing high-potential talent.
