About the Role

This Financial Analyst position is based in our regional head office in Dandenong and reports to the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing consolidated profit and loss reports, preparing and processing intercompany recharge invoices, and developing weekly cash flow forecasting reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of consolidated profit and loss reports to provide comprehensive financial overviews.
  • Preparation and processing of intercompany recharge invoices to facilitate smooth transactions between entities.
  • Development of weekly cash flow forecasting reports including intercompany transactions.
  • Overseeing cash flow and bank deposits to ensure optimal cash management practices are maintained.
  • Liaising with the Accounts Receivable team to monitor aged debtors.
  • Assisting in preparing rolling forecasts against budget and actuals to contribute to strategic planning efforts.
  • Helping prepare information for yearly audits and responding promptly to audit queries.
  • Assisting the sales team by processing credit notes upon request.
  • Preparation and updating of sales reports and production output reports for management.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant undergraduate studies and commencement of a CA/CPA program.
  • Proven experience within the manufacturing sector highly regarded.
  • A willingness to learn and progress to the next stage of your career.
  • Availability to work in the Dandenong head office.
