Merchant Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced merchant compliance specialist to join our team.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage and execute acquiring pricing strategies, drive merchant risk and fraud management, forward delivery risk management, and handle pricing issues and incidents.

You will also be responsible for managing scheme and PCI compliance, regulatory reporting for acquiring, and supporting the development of merchant acquiring regulatory/policy-related matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience in researching and interpreting card scheme rules, strong stakeholder management skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

They will also possess well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to function effectively both as part of a team and autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute acquiring pricing strategy
  • Manage merchant risk and fraud
  • Manage forward delivery risk
  • Handle pricing issues and incidents
  • Manage scheme and PCI compliance
  • Regulatory reporting for acquiring

Requirements:

  • Experience with knowledge of risk and compliance gained within financial services
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of merchant acquiring, including terminals, ecommerce platforms, payment gateways, and card schemes
  • Experience in researching and interpreting card scheme rules
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Risk or Compliance
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
