Key Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of trains. Your work will involve collaborating closely with colleagues from various functions to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Review maintenance activities to optimise exams and reduce costs
  • Work closely with quality, engineering, planning, and support teams to maintain and improve vehicle configuration
  • Develop data collection processes and procedures to research trends in vehicle performance
  • Assess and analyse vehicle condition, calculating equipment failure rates and developing availability models
  • Develop preventative/corrective maintenance manuals and assist fault diagnosis
