We are looking for an experienced Executive Pastry Specialist to oversee the preparation of a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and sweet goods. The ideal candidate will have expertise in baking and a passion for creative culinary innovation.

The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional taste experiences and maintaining health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new dessert recipes to engage customers and increase menu appeal
  • Lead a team of skilled pastry chefs and bakers to ensure efficient production and presentation of baked goods
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies within budgetary constraints
  • Evaluate equipment performance and condition to optimize workflow and product quality
  • Foster a positive work environment by guiding and motivating team members
  • Collaborate with HR to identify staffing needs and assist in recruitment and training efforts
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Specialist or equivalent role with a focus on leadership and culinary innovation
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in developing new recipes and presentations
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage a team and prioritize tasks
  • A willingness to continuously update professional knowledge and stay current with industry trends
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, and baking techniques
  • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field
  • Estimated annual salary: $65,000 - $85,000 based on location and experience
