About the Role

Making lives better and happier aging is at the heart of what we do, enabling members of our aging and disabled community to live fulfilling lives at home as long as possible, doing what they love.

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a genuine, compassionate, and personalized care experience to our clients.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport, and companionship.
  • Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
  • Ensure safety needs are met and equipment is used safely and properly.
  • Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in employee rewards programs.
  • Work with a supportive and dynamic team.
  • Engage in ongoing training.
Skills & Experience
  • Passionate about making a difference.
  • Self-led leader capable of taking responsibility for their behavior and success.
  • Coachable.
  • Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
  • Ability to speak and write in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
  • Reliable transportation to and from clients' homes.
  • Drivers with their own vehicle are an asset.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Enrolled or completed a minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support, or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
  • National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector).
  • Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
  • NDIS Worker Screener Clearance.
