We are seeking a dedicated catering professional to join our team.

  • This role involves providing high-quality meal service to residents and supporting colleagues in the kitchen.
About the Role

This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Key responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining experience for residents and supporting your peers in the kitchen.
  • You will also be required to follow all policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • A heart and passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly;
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential;
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene;
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people;
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families;
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain;
