This role involves delivering high-quality communications that positively influence the organisation's image in the community. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing communication programs, coordinating media and stakeholder engagement, and contributing to strategic planning.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate research, writing, and editing services, as well as providing media release distribution, responses, and other communication materials. You will also coordinate digital communications activities and contribute to stakeholder engagement strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent oral and written communication skills, experience working in a high-pressure environment, and the ability to manage competing priorities and tight timeframes. The position requires tertiary qualifications in Communications/Public Relations/Media/Journalism or more than five years working in a similar field.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a full employment medical and police check.
