Job Title: Patient Services Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient administrative professional to join our team in a part-time, permanent role. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients while maintaining a professional, caring and friendly demeanor.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, have previous experience working individually or as part of a team, and be flexible with their approach to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clients and staff
  • Act as the first point of contact to patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations
  • Billing and Receipting at time of appointment
  • Accurately process relevant paperwork including data entry
  • Ensure the smooth running of the clinic
Requirements
  • Previous medical industry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
  • Familiarity with patient billing systems and Medicare mechanisms
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle high volume of inquiries
