Job Title: Patient Care Specialist

The role of a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Specialist is to make a positive impact in the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and effective patient care, addressing diverse needs and conditions with evidence-based practices.
  • Develop personalized care plans to promote patient recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, prioritizing patient and staff safety.

Requirements:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Desirable experience in Emergency Department/Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Previous experience in triage is preferable
  • At least 2 years' experience working in acute hospitals
  • Working With Children check
  • Dedication to delivering quality patient care
  • Compliance with Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) National standards
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
