We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our client as an Electrical Facilitator, located in Queensland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to train and mentor full-time apprentices, school-based students, and fee-for-service participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and operate the Vocational Electrical Program, ensuring efficiency and smooth operation that meets ASQA requirements.
  • Take a mentorship role in promoting the education of learners, delivering engaging and relevant learning programs.
  • Participate in Trade Education Team meetings, teaching school-based students.
  • Liaise with students, employers, and parents regarding student performance and progress.
  • Maintain Facilitator Currency annually.

Requirements:

  • Trades Certificate in Electrotechnology and current Queensland Electrical Licence.
  • Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to commit to work hours/roster.
  • Queensland Working with children card or eligibility to obtain.
  • CPR/Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
  • Electrical trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years post-trade work experience in the Electrical industry.
