Established as a leading Lecturer in Landscape Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in UNSW Australia's Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture (ADA). This esteemed position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of professionals and contribute significantly to the teaching and service missions of the School of Built Environment.
Role Overview:
As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education that inspires student learning and improves teaching and student experience. Your expertise in urban ecology, designing for climate change, and assessing climate change and landscape performance will enable you to initiate emerging pedagogical approaches and develop applied methodologies for climate-positive design and improved landscape outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Coordinate courses and manage course administration, ensuring academic quality assurance and meeting program objectives.
- Assess student learning achievements and provide constructive feedback, supporting students in postgraduate and undergraduate courses.
- Maintain professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and meet minimum professional accreditation requirements as determined by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
- Contribute to the Landscape Architecture Program and School/Faculty committees, fostering collaboration and excellence.

Salary Information:
