About the Faculty:

As a Lecturer (Education Focussed) in Landscape Architecture, you will be responsible for teaching and research in the School of Built Environment and contributing to the development of the Program of Landscape Architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and continuously develop a well-defined teaching philosophy that inspires student learning and improves teaching and student experience.
- Initiate the development of emerging pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning with the support of more senior academics.
- Coordinate courses and manage course administration, including academic quality assurance.
- Assess student learning achievements and support students in postgraduate and undergraduate courses in line with UNSW policy.
- Maintain professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and deliver minimum professional accreditation requirements as determined by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
- Demonstrate excellent team skills by making a positive contribution to the Landscape Architecture Program and School/Faculty committees as required.
Requirements:
Candidates with knowledge and experience in urban ecology, designing for climate change, the material impacts of climate change, and the skills to assess climate change and landscape performance are encouraged to apply.
