Eden Ritchie Recruitment is in search of a skilled change management professional to take on the role of ICT Change Management Specialist within a prominent Queensland Government department. This position involves executing and embedding effective business process transformation strategies to harness the advantages of a significant ICT-driven business enhancement initiative. Additionally, you will play a vital role in fostering change management capabilities within the Integrated Workforce Management (IWFM) Program team by providing mentorship and guidance to fellow program members.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with established service quality standards and health and safety regulations to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe services.
- Oversee the implementation of change management activities to facilitate a smooth transition and enhance workforce management practices and business models.
- Collaborate closely with the IWFM Central Business Transformation team and the designated Change Management Specialist to establish new or modified business processes as identified in the Business Change Impact Assessments.
- Lead communication and engagement efforts with key stakeholders across all organizational levels to support the successful execution of a business change management program.
- Develop IWFM Program strategies and related materials (documents, toolkits, etc.) in line with the approved change management methodology to effectively implement, reinforce, and sustain business changes.
- As a core member of the Business Implementation Team, provide specialized expertise in change management processes and practices, aligning with the IWFM Change methodology to promote successful and enduring change.
- Enhance program team capabilities by coaching and mentoring others in change management and business transformation.
- Identify risks and issues, advocate for the change management approach, and ensure alignment with IWFM best practices and lessons learned from previous implementations.
- Motivate team members by dedicating time to build positive and productive relationships, setting clear objectives, and offering professional leadership, guidance, and support.
- Contribute actively to fostering a positive work environment that upholds quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, and ethical conduct.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience and expertise in change management and business transformation.
- Successful leadership in workforce management transformation initiatives, including benefits realization, stakeholder engagement, communication, and training within a large, complex project environment.
- Exceptional skills in change planning, analysis, intervention, resistance management, conceptualization, and problem-solving, along with the ability to manage multiple deliverables within set priorities, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Extensive experience in documenting, implementing, and evaluating business change activities in a large-scale complex project setting.
- Expert-level stakeholder engagement and communication skills to facilitate effective business change and transformation, with the ability to engage, influence, and connect with others, often remotely.
- Knowledge of or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of HR/payroll workflow processes and systems.
Additional Information
- Intra-state travel is a requirement for this role, necessitating travel to various locations during implementations and requiring successful candidates to work and reside at the implementation site for the duration of the assignment as determined by the program schedule.
- Work Hours: This role is expected to be full-time on-site, requiring 8 to 10 hours per day, 5 days a week, unless otherwise agreed upon with the Senior Director of the IWFM program. It is likely that the role will require availability outside standard working hours to ensure that activities, testing, and project schedules remain on track.
- Travel and Accommodation: Assignments may be located in southeast Queensland or regional areas for the duration of the implementation. Where necessary, suitable accommodation and flights will be arranged, and the frequency of return visits will be negotiated with each contractor upon commencement.
