Job Title: Inbound Warehouse Planner

This is an exciting opportunity to join our warehouse team as an Inbound Warehouse Planner. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning and delivery of inbound container shipments to local and interstate distribution centres. This includes booking and managing container crew at Melbourne warehouse, overseeing and managing casual staff on site, and enforcing proper unloading procedures and storage of product into warehouse.

In addition, the role requires operating forklift equipment, moving stock manually as required, and order picking as required. You will also be responsible for communicating with interstate logistic partners and transport carriers, conducting stocktakes locally and interstate as required, performing product quality control and assembly tasks as needed, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in the ERP system.

Requirements include strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small team environment. The ideal candidate must be able to meet deadlines and complete tasks under tight time frames and occasional pressures. A trustworthy, friendly, and amicable personality is essential, along with attention to detail and ability to identify and correct mistakes.

A willingness to learn tasks outside of specific role and improve existing processes is also required. Strong sense of accountability and initiative in their role is necessary, along with ability to meet physical demands of the job, including handling heavy items. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a small team of workers are also required, as well as strong computer literacy and ability to work efficiently with ERP systems.
