Senior Administration Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administration Officer to join our team at Catherine's House, a leading provider of perinatal mental health care in Australia.
As an Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors, providing confidential administrative support to our team across the service. You will be responsible for managing appointment scheduling, preparing patient documentation, and ensuring effective communication between departments.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, allied health, and administration staff, to provide high-quality administrative support. Your excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work autonomously will be essential in this role.
About YouWe are looking for a professional, experienced Administrator who is adaptable to change, works well in busy environments, and has excellent problem-solving skills. You will possess:
- High level customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide efficient and effective administrative support, working autonomously taking initiative and ownership for your role and responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients, and visitors
- Accurate data entry skills with a high level proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven experience in organising and prioritising work effectively within busy, demanding, fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to adapt and learn new systems and changing working processes quickly and efficiently and to work collaboratively to support your peers
- A solution-focused, mature, can-do attitude
