Senior Administration Officer

About the Role
The Mater Hospital Administration team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join their team working in our Cardiovascular Investigation Unit. This role will be a permanent part-time position, working 16 hours per week, on Tuesday and Thursday.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients
- Manage outpatient appointments in Karisma
- Register and update patient details in iPM
- Liaise with scientists regarding bookings and workflow
- Manage inpatient requests
- Organize patient requests for the following day, including consent forms and holter/BP diaries
- Volunteer transport bookings
- Totalcare billing
- Manage phone calls from patients and clinical staff
- Stock ordering
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with administration and financial policies
- Provide administrative assistance to senior staff and others as requested
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous Totalcare/billing experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills, including competence in administration systems
- Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
