Marketing Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Officer to join our marketing team in a temporary full-time basis. This role will involve developing and distributing marketing communications materials to both internal and external stakeholders, managing marketing campaigns and projects, and supporting our sites with community engagement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and distributing communication materials including articles for internal newsletters, press releases and business-focused social media posts
  • Leading the internal calendar of key events, focusing on site-based events including communication to key stakeholders, briefing design of respective collateral, distribution of materials and post-event communications
  • Supporting our site teams with local area marketing and community engagement recommendations
  • Leading and facilitating market strategy meetings with the sales and marketing teams, providing advice and guidance on recommended marketing activities encompassing B2B and B2C activities and working directly with customers where required

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture with Marketing or Communications major favourable
  • Previous experience in a marketing and/or communications environment
  • Experience working in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge of agricultural systems and exporting/importing of commodities advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Natural inclination to provide strong customer service
