Marketing Communications Specialist

As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will develop and distribute marketing communications materials to internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include managing marketing campaigns and projects, as well as supporting our sites with community engagement.

  • You will be responsible for developing and distributing communication materials including articles for internal newsletters, press releases, and business-focused social media posts.
  • You will lead the internal Calendar of Key Events, focusing on site-based events including communication to key stakeholders, briefing design of respective collateral, distribution of materials, and post-event communications.
  • You will support our site teams with local area marketing and community engagement recommendations.
  • You will lead and facilitate Market Strategy meetings with the Sales and Marketing teams, providing advice and guidance on recommended marketing activities encompassing B2B and B2C activities, and working directly with customers where required.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture with a major in Marketing or Communications is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a marketing and/or communications environment is essential.
  • Experience working in a B2B environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of agricultural systems and exporting/importing of commodities is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • A natural inclination to provide strong customer service is essential.
