Air Conditioning Technician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Gold Coast.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Repair: Install new air conditioning systems and perform repairs on existing ones to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintenance and Record-Keeping: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns, record all maintenance and repair actions, and provide detailed reports as required.
  • Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of air conditioning systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, responding promptly to their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration;
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience;
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Licensing as required in Queensland;
  • Valid driver's licence.
