About the Role

The Consumer Portfolio Leader position at Suncorp Group is a key role that involves identifying opportunities and driving change across the product portfolio. This includes analysing portfolio performance, evaluating the impact of product/pricing/marketing/claims initiatives, and conducting regular investigations of portfolio data to highlight segmentation trends and develop appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse the portfolio performance across all channels to identify opportunities to optimise portfolio profit and loss performance.
  • Evaluate the performance of product/pricing/marketing/claims initiatives to determine impact and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct regular investigation of the portfolio data to highlight segmentation trends and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Lead and develop others ability to draw insights and connect underlying story to the data.
  • Actively motivate, develop, coach and engage team members to drive results and create a high performing team.
  • Produce consumer portfolio information and analysis servicing both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and customer centric approach.
  • Ability to initiate and manage changes.
  • Knowledge of key financial processes and performance metrics.
  • A passion for people development and leadership.
  • Insurance product knowledge preferred.
