About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our Food and Beverage team at The Star Brisbane. As a Steward, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Food and Beverage outlets, both front and back of house.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the use and storage of chemicals in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure waste materials are properly recycled and disposed of
  • Maintain and operate operational equipment, including dishwashers, utensils, and glassware
  • Assist in setting up and preparing for events and banquets
Requirements
  • A can-do attitude and commitment to upholding The Star's values
  • Sound knowledge of food safety regulations or ability to learn
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including early mornings and overnight shifts
  • Self-motivation and ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain focus
