Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our practice as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will work exclusively with children and adolescents, offering assessments, therapy, and support to help them overcome emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule while benefiting from the resources and reputation of an established practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, social skill difficulties, and low self-esteem.
  • Experience in supporting children and adolescents with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression, ODD, Specific Learning Disorders, and Developmental Delays.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in occasional team meetings or case consultations as needed.
Qualifications
  • AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychologist.
  • Preferably 5+ years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents post registration.
  • Proven experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Professional liability insurance (required for all contractors).
  • Flexible working hours and the ability to set your own schedule.
