Compassionate Speech Therapist for In-Home Assessments and Intervention

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist with HealthcareLink, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan, including those with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Attachment and Trauma. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Conducting standardized assessments and developing tailored therapy plans underpinned by strong clinical reasoning;
• Collaborating with parents, carers, educators, and health professionals to ensure comprehensive care;
• Completing accurate and concise reports, documenting client strengths and challenges;
• Liaising with the healthcare team to provide home practice activities and monitor progress;
• Demonstrating exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with clients, colleagues, and healthcare alliances;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
• A recognized degree in Speech Pathology;
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia;
• The ability to accurately assess, plan, and monitor intervention in the area of communication disorders;
• Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card);
• NDIS Worker Screening Check;
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption);
• National Police Check;
• Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle;
