About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal and home care services to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and transportation.
  • Assist clients with care procedures, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Manager to ensure seamless care coordination and client advocacy.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as infection control, safe handling/disposal of waste, and records management.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Care/Aged Care or higher qualifications.
  • Current driver's license and willingness to use IT software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine empathy and interest in client needs.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and independently, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and support.
