About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to lead our WA-based delivery team for key Defence projects in a client-side project management capacity.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex Major and Mega Construction and Infrastructure Projects, with a strong focus on strategic planning, project execution, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee projects and lead a team of construction professionals to ensure all strategic objectives are met and project delivery is achieved to a high standard.
  • Manage and develop project resources to achieve current and future project and business objectives.
  • Strategically plan and deliver project requirements to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Deliver high-quality service in consideration of time and cost constraints.
  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality and time requirements.
  • Assist with development and implementation of project programs, including but not limited to concept planning, design, implementation and close out phases.
  • Manage and administer contracts including invoices, reports, and other deliverables within deadlines.
  • Participate consultatively in project and process audits.
  • Assist in selected future bids, proposals, business development and conversion activities.
  • Manage RPS commercial interests in relation to client engagements.
About You

We are looking for a driven and energetic professional with strong presentation and communication skills, who can build and maintain valuable relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15+ years of recent construction and/or consulting project management experience across large scale, complex construction, and infrastructure projects.
  • Professional qualifications in project management, engineering, construction management or similar.
  • Planning or development and delivery phase experience.
  • Managing Contractor experience (preferred).
  • A clear understanding of directing and managing projects through all approval processes.
  • Proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies and contracts relating to large scale construction projects.
  • AIPM Certified Practicing Project Director certification or equivalent is desirable.
