Lead Accounts Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Accounts professional to oversee our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both AP and AR within a complex environment, preferably in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of invoice processing and payment runs
  • Mentoring AP & AR Officers and building team capability
  • Auditing subcontractor claims and certifying job completion
  • Credit control processes and debt collection

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of finance officers, ensuring accurate invoice processing and compliance with supplier/subcontractor terms. They will also support and mentor junior staff, driving process improvements and contributing to system enhancements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive process improvements and contribute to system enhancements, while supporting and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in AP and AR within a complex environment
  • Supervisory or mentoring experience
  • Proficiency in ERP systems like Jobpac
