Senior Financial Strategist

The Senior Financial Strategist is a critical role in driving financial insight and strategy across the organization.

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning, reporting, and analysis to executive leadership teams, boards, and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Model and analyze financial data, including profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet.
  • Maintain and update strategic planning models and rolling forecasts.

Financial Insights:

  • Provide key financial and non-financial metrics to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure data integrity.
  • Deliver regular trading insights on sales, margin, and cost drivers.

Investor Relations:

  • Support the preparation of ASX and investor reports.
  • Maintain broker models and consensus forecasts.

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a finance business partner to senior leaders.
  • Support budget inputs, monthly reviews, and ad-hoc modelling and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant qualified, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier advisory/audit and/or commercial finance.
  • Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills.
