About this Role
  • This is a hands-on position that involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats to ensure systems remain resilient and compliant with best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Create and implement cybersecurity controls across enterprise IT and digital services.
  • Manage and optimize security tools including SIEM, endpoint protection, DLP, CASB, XDR, IAM, WAF, and proxies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling; develop and execute mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents, working with a managed SOC to investigate and contain threats.
  • Enhance DevSecOps processes to minimize vulnerabilities and improve automation.
  • Continuously improve the configuration and effectiveness of all security technologies.
  • Track emerging threats and proactively strengthen defenses.
  • Maintain security playbooks, incident response plans, and compliance documentation.
  • Support audits and assess compliance with frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with SIEM and event monitoring (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel).
  • Experience with vulnerability management (e.g., Tenable, Nessus).
  • Hands-on knowledge of endpoint security & XDR (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike).
  • Proficiency in DLP, CASB, WAF, IPS/IDS.
  • Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Proven ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade security systems.
  • Skilled in incident response, risk assessments, patching, and remediation.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and securing hybrid/multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud desirable).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
