Job Opportunity: Cybersecurity Project Manager

The role of a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager involves leading and managing cybersecurity projects within an organization. A successful candidate will have the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project charters, work breakdown structures, timelines, and risk registers.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources, stakeholders, and third-party vendors effectively.
  • Security Implementation: Coordinate implementation of security controls, monitoring solutions, and incident response plans.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure projects comply with GDPR and oversee vulnerability management, web penetration testing, and IS audits.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Security Operation Center teams and business units to align project goals with security objectives.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards for executive updates.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in cybersecurity or IT security projects.
  • Skills: Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO), strong understanding of risk assessment, incident management, and cyber threat intelligence services, proficiency in Project Management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana).
