Junior Engineer Role Overview

This is a junior engineer position that offers the opportunity to work in the planning team, supporting senior engineers in delivering planning, feasibility and strategy studies and concept design for various water, wastewater and recycled water engineering projects.

The role will involve hydraulic modelling of water supply and wastewater systems, GIS analysis, cost estimation and report preparation. Field inspection and condition assessment of water supply, wastewater and stormwater assets will also be part of the job.

Candidates should have recently completed a civil or environmental engineering degree with high results throughout their studies. Knowledge and interest in water and wastewater network planning are essential, as well as a commitment to learning and expanding knowledge of the water industry.

Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with exemplary skills in Microsoft packages including Excel and Word.
