Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior water planning engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a junior water planning engineer, you will be working on multiple aspects of engineering consulting, including hydraulic modeling, GIS analysis, cost estimation, and report preparation.

You will be supporting senior engineers in the delivery of planning, feasibility, and strategy studies, as well as concept design for water, wastewater, and recycled water engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have recently completed a civil or environmental engineering degree, with a high standard of results throughout their studies.

  • Hydraulic modeling of water supply and wastewater systems
  • GIS analysis, cost estimation, and report preparation
  • Field inspection and condition assessment of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater assets

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other disciplines to contribute to process engineering, design, and asset management projects and project delivery services.
