Pharmacy Technician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a casual basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to further diversify their pharmacy career and gain unique skills working in specialized areas such as surgical, mental health, rehabilitation, geriatrics, infectious diseases, and more.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products to patients.
  • Manage and monitor imprest stock levels to ensure optimal inventory control.
  • Conduct regular stocktake to prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Deliver medications to hospital wards with precision and accuracy.
  • Process sales transactions and assist with customer queries efficiently.
  • Ensure patients receive the correct medication through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional support to patients, carers, and hospital staff.

We are looking for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and brings strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Australian working rights, valid for at least 12 months from the date of employment.
  • Dispensing experience in an Australian Pharmacy setting.
  • Ability to work Monday shifts without any disruptions.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment would be advantageous.
