About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pastry Commis Chef to join our team at Le Petit Gateau. As a key member of our pastry team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality French-style pastries and desserts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in the production of pastries and desserts
  • Develop and maintain high standards of quality and presentation
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Certificate III or higher in Patisserie or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced 4-5* resort or restaurant environment
  • Passion for all things pastry with a strong focus on product quality and presentation
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and peak holiday periods
